Ms. Mitchell is a member of the firm and focuses her practice in the areas of family law, criminal and civil trial, and appellate practice.
Ms. Mitchell received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature and Political Science from Knox College in 2004. While attending Knox College, she completed an internship with the Supreme Court of the United States. Upon graduation, Ms. Mitchell worked as a research assistant for the Legislative Unit of the Illinois General Assembly.
In 2008, Ms. Mitchell received her Juris Doctor from St. Louis University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Mitchell was the managing editor of the St. Louis University Public Law Review.
Ms. Mitchell has been selected as a "Rising Star" in the February 2012 issue of the Illinois Super Lawyers and on Superlawyers.com.
Ms. Mitchell is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and is Secretary for the Knox County Bar Association.
